ABOUT LUIS CRUZ

I am passionate about team work and building things. I work directly with leaders around me to understand, clarify and document current and future state capabilities, then develop a strategy and an execution plan to get there. My priority is to help bridge the gap between Business and Technology, provide thought leadership and identify trends and capabilities that help my customers and partners in the transitions they need to undergo. I like to ask questions, try things, move fast, and occasionally fail. You\'ll see me having a strong bias for action coupled with a great capacity to adapt and improve. When I\'m not working at enabling the people and organization around me, I am probably playing ultimate frisbee, catching up on personal finance reading or doing some house renovation project. Currently at Cisco I lead Strategy and Planning for the Canadian Systems Engineering organization. After spending years in the field building solutions for my external customers, I now turn my attention to the internal customers. The challenge remains the same: connecting business and technology, enabling and empowering those around me, making a positive change.
