As a senior software development engineer in test (SDET) at Lenmar Consulting, I lead and architect the test automation framework for the delivery team department at TD Ameritrade, one of the largest online brokers in the US. With over 10 years of experience in automated testing, I have a strong passion for technology and quality assurance, and a deep understanding of the architecture and inner workings of complex applications and systems.I have built and enhanced test automation frameworks using various open-source tools, such as Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, Maven, and Jenkins, that are scalable, maintainable, portable, and accessible. I have also implemented modern reporting mechanisms using Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana, and InfluxDB, that provide real-time data and visualizations of test results and performance metrics. Additionally, I have developed and executed JMeter scripts to simulate production traffic and conduct load, endurance, and stress testing of the applications. I have also contributed to the front-end unit testing using Karma and Jasmine. My goal is to utilize technology to deliver high-quality software products that meet the needs and expectations of the customers and stakeholders. I collaborate with upper management, product owners, developers, and QA engineers to ensure the integrity, reliability, and functionality of the applications. I also seek feedback and suggestions from colleagues and apply them to improve the framework and the testing process as a team. I enjoy learning new tools and techniques that can enhance my skills and expertise in test automation and performance testing.
