About Luis Bardales

My story starts in Lima, Peru. When I was 2 years old, my family came to the United States to pursue the “American Dream.” Although both my parents had their college degrees in Peru, they sacrificed their careers to immigrate to the U.S. to provide my sister and I with a better future. I am bilingual, I learned English and Spanish at the same time while growing up in Pennsylvania. I am a Louis E Dieruff alumni and am thankful I was involved in their AFJROTC program where I learned leadership skills and the importance of community involvement.I’m very passionate about media production and business. In high school I started pursuing video production, photography, and music. I learned how to produce and create media when I was 14 years old. The skills I learned while I was in high school lead to me starting my business called LBJ Media. In 2015, I decided to study TV/Film at Lehigh Carbon Community College to perfect my craft and I got involved in their BEC program where I learned about entrepreneurship and mentorship. In the beginning, the company was just me and one camera, but through hard work and determination it helped me build my company to what it is today. I realized that my art can positively impact and support the Allentown community. I further pursued my passion when I transferred to Kutztown University, where I studied Marketing to be able to merge both my creative and business skills. In 2017, I won the Lehigh Valley Golden Latin Award for Businessperson of the Year.I am currently a district manager at ADP while still running my business. I get to help small businesses everyday with payroll, human resources, and benefits while building relationships in our Partner Channel. We build relationships with CPAs, Accountants, Bookkeepers, Tax Preparers, and more informing them about our partnership referral opportunities and inhouse payroll solution. I’m proud to call Allentown my home and feel fortunate that I’ve been able to pursue my creative dreams and business endeavors while make lasting connections with many people in the community.
