ABOUT LUISA VILLA

I am a highly competitive and goal-oriented leader with a passion for learning and leading change. I enjoy collaborating with peers across departments and disciplines to create solutions for complex problems. With a background in sales and customer success, I believe in putting the customer first. Starting my career in the government gave me a strong foundation in operations, project planning and policies. I have taken these experiences to develop strategies and systems that align to organizational initiatives and drive growth and retention. I use my research and data analyzing skills to provide actionable insight and effectively communicate it to internal and external stakeholders. As an educator and athletic coach I learned if I can manage 125 teenagers, I can manage any team. As a Latina, equity is important to me. Working on the DEI Advisory Board at Learning A-Z gave me the opportunity to design internal and external professional learning on how to be culturally inclusive. My personal goal is to assist in creating equity and diversity within my organization and partnerships. I enjoy public speaking and can present to executives and peers alike. It helps that I’m fluent in English and Spanish so I can communicate to a larger audience. My father, formerly a general contractor, exemplified being an empathetic leader and the importance of a good work ethic. He also taught me the greatest lesson of them all- measure twice and cut once.
