ABOUT LUISA BENTIVOGLI
I am the head of the \"Machine Translation\" research unit at Fondazione Bruno Kessler, where I have been working since From 2008 to 2013 I was part-time assigned to the Centre for the Evaluation of Language and Communication Technologies (CELCT), first as a research manager with the role of coordinating the activities of the centre, then as Director. My research interests include the evaluation of machine and speech translation, gender bias in automatic translation, translation technologies for translators, crowdsourcing for NLP, corpus creation and annotation, computational lexicography in a multilingual environment.I co-authored more than 80 scientific publications and I serve as reviewer for journals, conferences and workshops. I regularly supervise internship, master, and PhD students. I co-organized different tasks in several evaluation campaigns (e.g. IWSLT, RTE, SemEval, EVALITA) and other international events aimed at both the scientific community and translators (e.g. School of Advanced Technologies for Translators - SATT 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019).
