ABOUT LUISA ARNEDO
I have over 10 years of professional experience in behavioral and ecological research and conservation, with experience designing, writing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating projects. I have done extensive fieldwork in Colombia and Brazil, which gave me the opportunity to develop skills to coordinate large team activities in challenging and constantly changing conditions. This also taught me to adapt quickly and efficiently to new circumstances. I am fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English. As manager of the Toyota TogetherGreen Fellowship Program at Audubon, I oversee the selection and implementation of community conservation projects of forty fellows from around the US every year. During the life cycle of the projects I provide one-to-one mentorship to the awardees and monitor deliverables and outcomes. I also lead the organization of two in person trainings, and have developed and implemented training sessions on project and conservation planning, as well as in diversity and inclusion in conservation. Specialties: Project design, implementation and evaluation. Strong leadership, communication, observational, creative, analytical and problem-solving skills.Training and mentoring technical and non-technical audiences.
