ABOUT LUIS SALAZAR
I\'ve assisted companies by optimizing manufacturing processes, restructuring planned maintenance, redesigning Tools, system engineering, artificial intelligence integration, automation and working the floor to improve plant efficiency, reduce downtime, and reduce the cost of raw materials to ensure profitability targets are met with good quality. Before Covid-19 I worked as a structural stress engineer mainly working with composites. I was tasked with leading a team of engineers to provide the best hybrid chassis. The job consisted of research and development, composite manufacturing and testing, quality control, validation, lean six sigma, presentations, systems engineering, software development, and finite elements. While working I managed to improve previous designs by reducing weight, increasing torsional stiffness and implementing a design application to assist future stress engineers.
