I have recently attended an extensive 1 week Laser Safety training course on April 19-23, 2021. It was intended to allow me to facilitate safe laser test operations in Eurofins E&E laboratories as an official Laser Safety Officer (LSO).My duties now include managing the Eurofins E&E NA California laboratories Laser Safety test operations as site LSO, special projects management, vendor management, Fire & Security systems, building & test operations equipment maintenance and as a QA Calibration Custodian.Prior to this, I was involved in environmental and mechanical testing for end-product reliability, design validation and regulatory compliance on consumer product, system servers, routers, medical, commercial and military products. For data communication devices, this includes monitoring server speeds, data traffic and other product functions to ensure the operational performance is not adversely affected when exposed to high & low temperature/humidity extremes, altitude, vibration and seismic events. For commercial and military products, we test to ensure that the products meet their specified operating limits under specific test conditions. I was then promoted to LAB supervisor in 2017.My duties include being the technical lead, as well as being the departmental customer service advocate and liaison, and scheduling customer projects and associated resources, all with the goal of ensuring we adhere to strict laboratory and industry standards. Additionally, lab productivity and forecasting are reported to the company CEO via bi-monthly meetings.
