For me, procurement is more than just sourcing parts—it’s about building the supply chains that make a sustainable future possible. I’ve focused my career on the renewable energy sector, and what I enjoy most is solving the complex puzzles that make clean energy more accessible and efficient.My career didn\'t start in procurement. I began as a corporate lawyer, which gave me a crash course in high-stakes negotiation and risk management. My path took an unexpected turn when I emigrated from my home country, and my first corporate opportunity was in the energy sector. I jumped in and quickly discovered it was a natural fit, allowing me to apply my legal skills to tangible supply chain challenges. It\'s been an amazing journey at Fluence, where the company\'s trust and support allowed me to grow from a specialist into the leader of the Americas Procurement Strategy department—a department I had the privilege of building from the ground up.Leading this new team has been incredibly rewarding. We\'ve made a real impact by developing strategies that keep over 95% of our projects under budget. I\'ve also had the chance to: Lead negotiations that cut costs on critical components by up to 50%. Spearhead a standardization project that completely wiped out delivery delays for key equipment.Looking ahead, I’m driven to scale my impact and am preparing to pursue an MBA to help get there.
