I’m an Information Systems and Technology graduate with a concentration in Cybersecurity and a background in the United States Marine Corps. My military experience-built discipline, accountability, and the ability to perform under pressure traits I now apply to cybersecurity and network defense. I have hands-on experience in network security, Linux administration, penetration testing, and monitoring platforms such as Zabbix and NetData. I’ve worked with firewalls, VLANs, routing, and DMZ configurations, and I understand how to secure infrastructure proactively. I also apply risk management principles aligned with NIST to protect systems and support organizational missions. I bring a team-first mindset, strong communication skills, and a commitment to securing systems the right way. I’m motivated to keep growing in this field because cybersecurity directly impacts protecting people, businesses, and communities. Whether it’s securing a network, responding to an incident, or helping a team understand a threat, the work matters.
