ABOUT LUIS F. CARBONELL
As a student at the University of Virginia’s Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Leadership, with a minor in General Business. Along with my time in Charlottesville, my academic journey includes a semester abroad in Valencia, Spain, where I explored Spanish, Psychology, and Comparative Politics while immersing myself in a new culture. Furthermore I have strong experience with Procurement. This past summer, I interned at Volkswagen Group of America as a Procurement Contracts Intern, where I gained proficiency in contract management, Procurement operations, legal analysis, and cross-collaboration amongst varying business units. These are skills I hope to apply to any future endeavor, especially in the Aviation, Automobile, or Hospitality spaces.
