Postdoctoral appointee with the Optimization & Uncertainty Quantification department in the Centerfor Computing Research under the mentorship of Michael Eldred. I work on scientific optimization anduncertainty quantification algorithms for state-of-the-art applications such as improving the representation of equatorial zonal winds in the tropical atmosphere for the Energy Exascale Earth System Model, the Department of Energy’s flagship Earth model built over the last decade to meet the energy-relevant science needs of the nation.
