To support in the delivery of a high quality Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance service across the College in order to assist students to make education, training and occupational choices and to manage their careers- To support the provision of a professional, customer focussed service so that students receive appropriate and timely advice and guidance interviews either face to face, by telephone, and other digital means and support meetings and/or college visits to help students to draw up Careers Action Plans for their education, training and employment and supporting them to achieve work or learning goals- To support the Careers Leader in working with SEND students at key transition points during their education including attendance at Annual Reviews to ensure they have access to confidential, impartial information, advice and guidance and support that will enable and empower them to participate fully in decisions relating to their future aspirations and career plans- Working in partnership with the SEND Team to deliver awareness sessions in schools and Colleges about the Local Offer and attending any relevant local events- To maintain appropriate student records including recording interactions; tracking student’s progress and gathering their feedback and to provide statistical information on the usage of the service to the Careers Leader, whilst working within the guidelines of confidentiality and data protection- To coordinate and deliver automatic CEIAG interviews with all year 13 students in line with Gatsby Benchmark expectations- To work in close conjunction with Progress Coaches and Curriculum staff in support of the tutorial and Employability programmes through developing centrally available and accessible resources, presentations; arranging and publicising guest speakers, and directing / escorting students to events arranged within and external to the College.
