I\'m a Management Information Systems senior at San Diego State University, building a career in cybersecurity, IT, and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC).As a Finance Intern with the City of San Diego Police Department, I support third-party risk management and compliance operations. I audit vendor records in SAP, manage procurement workflows in Ariba, and ensure adherence to municipal financial policies. It\'s hands-on GRC work in a government environment.On the technical side, I\'m building a homelab running Proxmox on a Dell OptiPlex 3060 with OPNsense as a virtualized firewall, a Raspberry Pi 5, and a segmented network — actively studying for the CompTIA Security+ exam.
