Responsibilities: o Create and maintain performance levels during different shifts. o Play an active role on the safety committee to ensure OSHA compliance across all various buildings. o Manage overall operations and have full responsibility for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, overtime, quality control, and safety measures. o Responsible for overseeing and managing contracts with external vendors who have been awarded contracts to provide specific services or programs. o Support Engineering team on the new product development. o Maintain constant communication with the production planning team to prioritize and create a plan to keep back orders under 1 week of backorder. o Works closely with supervisors, sub-leads, and operators in gathering information and tracking progress against approved milestones. o Interviewing, selection, and hiring; training new and existing employees; planning, assigning, and directing work. Major Accomplishments: o Implementation of weekly productions KPIs (Quantities produce,% of attainment against,% of rejections) o Backorders reduction in all the different production lines from over 10 weeks to under 1 week in a 12 month period. o Implementation of Vorne System as a live monitor system to keep a track of OEE, Cycle Times, Performance, etc. o Create googles share sheets for the production lines that weren’t suitable for other type of systems to monitor production throughout the shift. o Increase 50% of the InWall production line by creating a new layout base on a One-Piece-Flow lean manufacturing concept.
