My job is to lead the connectivity, privacy and cyber security aspects of the Esaote diagnostic imaging modalities (US and MR scanners). In particular, for both Ultrasound and MRI, my job is to drive the connectivity development (according to DICOM, IHE), the privacy and cyber security development (accoding to HIPAA, GDPR and other privacy/security regulations), and to assure the internal compliance of the R&D function to GDPR. Since 2014 I also define the list of the peripherals the end user can connect to our ultrasound systems. Finally, I cooperate with the service engineers to provide the highest level support for connectivity and cyber security issues in the field. Since 2019 I am also in charge of following the grants opportunities on behalf of the Esaote R&D.
