ABOUT LUIGI AVANTAGGIATO
Freelance photographer based in Rome, Italy. After earning a PhD in visual studies, he began working as a documentary photographer, with a strong interest in issues related to socio-anthropological and environmental transformations. His photography and writing have been published in international newspapers and magazines (Süddeutsche Zeitung, BBC Science Focus, il Venerdì di Repubblica, Sette, Panorama, Il Corriere della Sera, Cosmos, GEO and others). He has exhibited his photography in exhibitions and festivals in Italy and abroad. He is author of book essays and papers about photography, cinema and visual arts. Luigi is available for assignments around the world.
