As the Executive Director of CityLight Esther Women of Influence (EWOI), Dr. Luella Redfern leads a global movement empowering women across 40 countries through education, entrepreneurship, and faith-based community development. Under her leadership, EWOI provides scholarships for women and children, equipping them with the tools they need to break cycles of poverty and build sustainable futures.Dr. Redfern oversees the organization’s microfinance and cooperative farming initiatives, which help women establish and manage businesses raising chickens, goats, and cattle. Through local lending programs, she ensures that women entrepreneurs have access to capital to launch and grow their enterprises. Her commitment to economic empowerment extends to training programs for women church leaders and pastors, fostering strong, faith-based leadership in communities worldwide.Beyond economic and spiritual empowerment, Dr. Redfern leads efforts to build schools, churches, and healthcare centers, ensuring that underserved communities have access to quality education, places of worship, and essential medical care.
