In 2024 I started a YouTube channel based around providing professional-level feedback and advice to indie and hobbyist game developers, by providing entertaining \"deep dives\" on games, ranging from early-stage prototypes to near-launch titles. With an anarchic and surreal approach to games education and criticism, Indie Game Clinic has grown to over subscribers in 6 months. IGC also has an attached Discord community for Patreon subscribers and featured developers, and an integrated merchandise shelf.

ABOUT JOE BAXTER-WEBB
Game designer and “full stack creative” with 15 years experience between games/media production and related teaching. Previously responsible for game design and creative leadership at Karta, making Roblox and Fortnite experiences for a range of clients. In my most recent 4-year stint in academia I helped to design and lead the Game Design degree at ranked in the top 3 nationally. Prior to this I worked as a creative producer, narrative, level and economy designer at a small mobile games studio which made games in collaboration with clients including Mediatonic, Adult Swim Games, and Turner Broadcasting.My practical experience ranges from small experimental art games and bots, to F2P mobile games, and more recently making metaverse/UGC maps and experiences with Karta. I’m happiest in situations where I can contribute in a hands-on way, whether that be to level design, UI and UX, game narrative, or progression and economy. I\'m passionate about board-games and tabletop roleplaying games, and anything which encourages creativity, problem-solving and expressiveness in players. I also have an interest in music production and video editing, and have designed several non-digital games.
