Hello, I’m Lucy *disclaimer ChatGPT did not write this*I’m a Social Media and Content Manager but my journey to get here hasn’t been linear. Let’s try and keep it interesting… here’s some things you should know about me: → I worked in Litigation for 6 years where I studied law and gained a Diploma with CILEx in Providing Legal Services, Law and Practice and Civil Litigation ‍→ Working in a corporate environment from a young age gave me a unique skillset (it’s all I knew!)- I’m analytical, can manage multiple ongoing projects, organised and can absorb information like a sponge 🧽→ During the pandemic, I had a side hustle going on where I sold handmade products. I loved my products but what I loved more was managing the social media accounts. This is where I found my love for social media → In May 2021, I took on the social media accounts for Trade Union Legal LLP alongside my full time job in the litigation team. I managed everything on Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram and designed marketing materials for recruitment and networking events🤝→ March 2022 - I moved to Dubai on my own (swerve ball!) My biggest challenge and achievement. I worked in the conveyancing team for the industry leading Real Estate Firm. This was the most challenging yet rewarding job I have ever done. I worked with people from all over the world, managing high value transactions and in a super fast paced environment. → May 2024. I moved back to the UK in May 2024 where I dedicated time to study social media marketing and dive into something I really enjoy. Some non-work, semi-interesting stuff: → I like the gym, it keeps me sane. → My current favourite podcast is Working Hard, Hardly Working by Grace Beverley. → I’m a self-professed foodie. ⏭ Fast forward to now.
