ABOUT LUCY BANNISTER
In my current role I am responsible for a team of Project Co-ordinators, the remit of this team involves meticulous management of the customer journey from initial enquiry or quote request to completion of their installation and any after-sales queries. This can typically involve dealing with general enquiries, estimating, scheduling and logistics, escalated complaints, repricing and drawing approvals, liaising with templaters and installers and issuing various paperwork and internal system maintenance. I thoroughly enjoy the challenges this role presents in terms of problem solving, and I find developing/adapting processes to aid efficiency, maintaining high standards and getting the very best out of my team extremely rewarding. My previous experience within the KBB sector as a Kitchen Designer and Project Manager lends itself well to this role, in terms of building relationships, managing customer\'s expectations and applying technical knowledge to foresee any problems that may arise and deal with them quickly and effectively. I am also responsible for applying Whitehall\'s brand management strategy, developing our online presence across several digital platforms and maintaining the inherited company website - this is an opportunity recognised by Danny, Whitehall\'s MD as a perfect outlet for my creative flair. In order to academically underpin my skills and experience, I am currently studying my Masters degree at Northumbria University in Business and Management, and plan to apply for Chartered Management accreditation upon completion of this course to further develop my portfolio of formal qualifications and apply my knowledge to my current role. Prior to this, I attended the Northern School of Art - formerly CCAD, where I studied set, props and costume design and production, ultimately achieving a 2:1. I was the founding President of the Students\' Union and I sat on the Board of Governors for 3 years. I have considerable experience within the Education sector, with a particular focus on Quality Assurance and Student Engagement, I was a QAA reviewer, trained in various review methods and attended a variety of consultation events and strategy meetings for a number of sector bodies, such as UCAS, GuildHE and QAA.
