ABOUT LUCY CARTHY

I help organisations across multiple sectors navigate and deliver complex change management and restructuring programmes, which require innovative and unique solutions, for which there is often no previous blueprint. I draw my experience from more than 15 years’ at KPMG, helping both large client organisations and KPMG itself steer through unfamiliar territory to negotiate wide-reaching, multifaceted and sometimes controversial business transformation programmes. Today, as a highly experienced restructuring and change management consultant, I bring to my clients a creative and holistic approach to problem-solving. Seamlessly integrating business process and project management with internal communications strategy and stakeholder engagement, I deliver an embedded solution that brings onside key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. My experience spans multiple sectors including financial services, transport and infrastructure, retail, sports and leisure, natural energy and resources, and public services. I am particularly interested in helping governance and infrastructure organisations, struggling with multipart restructuring projects, to bring about real and socially beneficial change.Previous projects have included- restructuring and developing a new strategy for an internal communications team- overseeing the implementation and operationalisation of a new operating model- restructuring an internal finance function- delivering an extensive HR transformation programme- co-creating a huge and innovative staff engagement event.My approach is reinforced by an intuitive understanding of people’s needs, a natural ability to communicate, and a recognition of the importance of building productive relationships across an organisation’s hierarchy.If you would like assistance on the design and delivery of an internal comms and engagement plan or a change project plan or you just want to explore how I can help, please do get in touch.
