ABOUT LUCY G.
From managing data-driven campaigns across three continents to modelling business decisions through analytics I am building toward a future where I sit at the table where strategy, data, and finance converge.I am currently pursuing an MSc in Business Analytics at the University of Exeter, deepening my ability to turn complex data into clear business decisions. My background spans Kenya, Malaysia, and the United Kingdom giving me a global lens that I bring into every analysis and every room I walk into.Over the years I have led digital campaigns for B2B tech firms, SMEs, and academic institutions, growing audiences by and improving ROI by up to 30%. But more than the numbers, what has always driven me is the question behind them why is this happening, and what should we do next? That curiosity is what pulled me toward analytics, and now toward financial strategy. My future self is working at the intersection of business analytics and finance whether in financial analysis, business intelligence, or strategic consulting using data to solve problems that actually matter at scale. Particularly across emerging markets, where I believe data-led leadership will define the next chapter of African economies.Outside of work and study, I mentor young women across Kenya and Uganda, have served as a student faculty spokesperson, and spoke at the US Embassy Kuala Lumpur Women in Energy seminar (2023). Leadership, for me, has never been just professional it’s personal.Open to: Business Analytics | Financial Analysis | Strategy & Consulting | Graduate SchemesExeter, UK
