As a junior at North Carolina State University, I am pursuing a Criminology degree with a minor in Forensic Science. This path aligns perfectly with my long-term goal of becoming a Forensic Scientist or a Behavioral Analyst within the FBI, as well as my interest in cognitive science research. Before entering higher education, I attended Chattanooga Christian School from 1st to 12th grade. My academic performance consistently placed me at the top of my class, particularly in subjects requiring strong analytical and critical thinking skills, such as English and history. I also developed exceptional public speaking abilities through active participation in a year-long Capstone research project. My commitment to community service was solidified through my work at Girls Inc. of Chattanooga. As a volunteer and later as a paid camp counselor, I had the privilege of contributing to the lives of young girls. This experience instilled in me valuable skills such as effective communication, problem-solving, and working effectively with diverse populations, all of which are crucial in law enforcement.I am particularly drawn to criminal profiling and forensic analysis within the field of Criminology. I am confident that my time at NC State will provide me with the necessary knowledge, skills, and opportunities to excel in my academic pursuits and ultimately achieve my career aspirations.
