ABOUT LUCY WESTGARTH
Currently mediating the ever competing priorities of the triple bottom line, I am a motivated and agile individual that believes in delivering a balance of compliance and commerciality to all things Environmental, Social and Governance related. Past roles included delivering management information, business intelligence, risk and public procurement governance. I have experience managing teams dealing with sustainability, supplier compliance, cyber and quality accreditations, continual improvement and spend analysis. I\'m passionate about monitoring macro disruptions, and I take a personal interest in business continuity and supply chain resilience. My MSc thesis project investigated the impacts of COVID-19 on supply networks and examined multiple considerations that organisations should make to enhance their own resilience while supporting their wider supply systems. Organisational behaviour is another area that I’m particularly passionate about; specifically empowering entry level staff to fully understand the tools they already possess and how they can use them to advance in their careers. I mentor informally in the workplace, but have also contributed to mentoring programmes in my spare time.
