About Lucy Shields

I am a third-year student at the University of Iowa’s Tippie College of Business, pursuing a degree in Marketing and Management and on track to graduate in May of 2027. As a hardworking, motivated, and driven student, I am passionate about developing innovative marketing and management strategies that drive success. On campus, I am an active member of Kappa Alpha Theta, Dance Marathon Women in Business, and the American Marketing Association where I continuously expand my knowledge and network with like-minded professionals.Originally from Chicago, IL, I attended Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School, an all-girls Catholic school that shaped my strong passion in leadership, management, and marketing. My experiences there equipped me with the skills and discipline that have allowed me to excel in college and grow as a student. I recently became campus director for University Tees where I’ve gained hands-on experience in marketing, sales, and customer relations. This role has strengthened my leadership, communication, and project management skills while allowing me to collaborate with teams and student organizations.The University of Iowa offers incredible opportunities, and I am eager to continue learning over the next few years. My ultimate goal is to make a meaningful impact on a corporate marketing and management team by applying the knowledge and skills I gain from Tippie College of Business.
