Reporting into the Operations and Manufacturing Director and working alongside the commercial team, lead the product and packaging strategy for the celebrations categories (gift wrap, bags, crackers, cards and accessories), including UK and Far East sourcing. Working with our retailer portfolio to develop ranges and drive growth opportunities. Manage the product, category management, reprographics and technical departments. Lead trials of innovative NPD and EPD from concept to fruition. Proactively understand the supply chain position across the UK and Far East to support negotiation with suppliers and retailers. Continued consumer insights, trend forecasting and market intelligence to ensure we are leaders in our categories and offer the consumer a product proposition to meet their needs. Stock management of greetings brands, working together with the merchandising teams to accurately forecast product and raw materials. Process improvement - leading process improvement from manufacturing through to office functions to maximise efficiency and drive pace. Sustainability ambassador, championing the development of the sustainability strategy.
