About Lucy Pierce
As the granddaughter of someone who founded a packaging company, I\'ve always found myself drawn to the industry. After completing my masters thesis on compostable packaging and volunteering for zero-waste events, I pursued a career to help companies make their packaging more sustainable. I am sustainability policy professional knowledgeable in Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations and circular economy strategies for companies looking to thrive in our increasingly complex world. At the Sustainable Packaging Coalition, I lead policy initiatives that keep 500+ member companies informed and compliant in a modern regulatory environment. My expertise spans EPR compliance, Post-Consumer Recycled content laws, eco-modulation, recyclability labeling, and more. The packaging industry is at a pivotal moment.
