ABOUT LUCY MCCAULEY

Lucy McCauley works with well-known professors, speakers, and consultants as a developmental editor on books and thought-leadership articles for Harvard Business Review Press, Boston Consulting Group, and others. Her specialties include Leadership, Organizational Behavior, Strategy, and Negotiation. In addition, McCauley\'s travel essays have appeared in such publications as The Atlantic Monthly, The Los Angeles Times, Fast Company magazine, The Harvard Review, The New York Times, Dallas Morning News, DeltaSky, Organic Spa Magazine, San Francisco Chronicle, Science & Spirit, and Salon.com. She won a Gold Solas Award in 2012 for her essay \"Beneath the Surface,\" set at Walden Pond. For five years she was series editor of Travelers\' Tales\' Best Women’s Travel Writing, and edited three other Travelers’ Tales anthologies—Spain (1995), Women in the Wild (1998), and A Woman’s Path In a past life she wrote case studies in Latin America for Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and worked as a writing coach in the Pre-MBA Summer Writing Program at Harvard Business School. McCauley recently worked as a researcher on the PBS documentary \"Tulsa: The Fire and the Forgotten\"(Saybrook Productions). An active member of Coming to the Table, an organization dedicated to truth, justice, and racial healing, she cofounded with Jeffrey Rodgers the first local chapter in Texas. McCauley presented her independent documentary,\"Facing the Nazi Era: Conversations in Southern Germany,\" in German theaters, universities, high schools, and exhibition centers. The film premiered (world) in Nov. 2011 at the Vancouver Jewish Film Festival and at the D.A.I in Tübingen on Dec. 2011 (European premier). Other screenings include the Angelika Theater Dallas (Three Stars Jewish Cinema, US Premier June 2012), the Uhland Institute at Tübingen Univ, the Waldhorn Kino (Rottenburg), and Berlin\'s Centrum Judaicum.
