The Finance Analyst will carry out the vital accountancy tasks necessary to ensure the smooth running of HOTR. This role will also be pivotal in providing timely and accurate financial reporting information to the Finance Director and Finance Committee which includes all the staff accountants allowing them to work effectively. Responsiblities include. Prepare monthly management accounts for the finance committee and quarterly management accounts for the PCC - sales and purchase ledger Handle all cash collections and carry out weekly banking Undertake bank reconciliations, manage petty cash and expenses for all paid staff and volunteers Oversee staff credit cards and monthly reconciliations Online banking for utilities and other adhoc payments as required Ensure gift-aid records are accurate and compliant with regulations Maintain asset register Prepare monthly breakdowns of actual vs budget for all departments and additional management information and analysis as required. Prepare monthly cash flow statements Oversee monthly accruals for; mission fund, depreciation, events, gift aid and parish share Oversee monthly payroll following internal control recommendations and liaising with external payroll company (Stewardship) Administration of pension payment set up (Nest) Update schedules for year end Download all account data; bank statements, credit card statements, Stripe, Stewardship donations, Virgin Money donations and iZettle account Data manipulation; grossing up of donations/sales via agencies applying financial charges Filling of all paperwork
