ABOUT LUCY HILL
I co-lead the development of mental health and emotional wellbeing services across East Sussex schools and colleges, bringing together clinical insight, community psychology and strategic service management to create sustainable, system-level impact.Alongside my Service Manager role, I practise as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and trainee Psychotherapist, which grounds my leadership in real therapeutic work with children, young people and adults. This dual perspective strengthens my ability to design responsive services, deliver reflective practice, and shape culturally attuned interventions that genuinely meet community need.I’m currently completing a Strategic Leadership and Management qualification, building on my experience of service planning, quality assurance and multi-disciplinary collaboration. I’m passionate about developing environments where young people, families and education staff can thrive, and about expanding accessible, evidence-informed mental health support within local communities.
