This includes identifying strategic collaborators, establishing long-term relationships with key labs and faculty, and aligning academic innovation with PlayStation’s future technology roadmap.

In The Future Technology Group we are transforming the experience of play through bold innovation and technical creativity, using our skills and passion to push the boundaries of what\'s possible and build the future for PlayStation. I am the manager of our academic research program in the UK, Europe, and ANZ. My role is to develop and maintain relationships with the academic community, including creating and maintaining deep relationships with specific institutions/laboratories to help create innovation for PlayStation.We work and support universities in a variety of ways from sponsoring research groups, funding PhDs, placing researchers directly into projects, and co-authoring papers. I also set up and manage these academic collaborations.
