Educate and assist UM students in applying for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, and other similar federal and state aid programs including rental assistance, childcare assistance, utilities assistance, and more. Conduct outreach for the UM Food Pantry and ASUM Bear Necessities Agency online, via social media, and in person. Organize and support the execution of new and annual events. Support the planning and execution of small and large food drives including Can the Cats and annual spring drives. Provide student intake and case management support. Assist student interns and staff in expanding and maintaining the ASUM Bear Necessities Agency Resource Library.
