ABOUT LUCY CLEARY

I am a first-seat Trainee Solicitor at Dentons, seated in the Pensions Department. I started in September having achieved first-quintile results in the SQE. I excel both academically and professionally, I was awarded Best Newcomer at the National Paralegal Awards 2023. I have over 2 years’ experience as a Corporate and Commercial Paralegal at Dentons, supporting high-profile matters across multiple sectors and developing hands-on experience in complex transactions and client advisory work. Alongside this work, I contributed to pro bono initiatives, co-founded a Neurodiversity Network in my team and was a member of the firm wide Social Committee. I have successfully passed both the SQE and LPC, achieving a Distinction in the LLM in Legal Practice alongside both of these. I completed my undergraduate degree in LLB Law and Criminology at the University of Sheffield. My focus is taking every opportunity I can to develop my skills and expanding my expertise across diverse areas of law as I progress through my training contract.
