ABOUT LUCY BLOXHAM

With over eight years experience in the humanitarian sector, I have a strong foundation in digital communications, content creation and strategic storytelling. Currently, I serve as a Communications Consultant at the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) Innovation Accelerator, with a topic focus on artificial intelligence and frontier technology, emergency response, supply chain, gender equality and innovative finance. In this role, I create and execute communication strategies and develop clear, impactful narratives, ensuring complex issues are communicated with both accuracy and empathy.Previously, I led digital strategy and content development for Concern Worldwide (UK), where I managed a talented content team, executed high-impact digital campaigns and headed overseas content-gathering trips in emergency contexts such as South Sudan, Ukraine and Chad.
