   Lead end-to-end research projects with federal practice engineers and clients to define and implement solutions for the experience of digital products, services, and forms; this includes scoping and developing research plans (identifying key research questions, methods, planned artifacts, and recruitment strategy), creating interview and usability testing guides, analyzing data to identify actionable findings, presenting those findings to stakeholders, collaborating with developers to assess the feasibility and level of effort of proposed changes, and supporting the updating of stories and requirements as necessary- Researched, prototyped, tested, and iterated on the launch of the ICE Portal which aimed to support migrants taking action on their immigration cases; site received over unique users in the first year and one million in the second, with engagement KPIs showing steady increases in task completion rates and time spent on key resources- Guided the research strategy to gather insights from 5 ports along the southwest border, four locations in the interior, and interviews with migrants, NGOs, and immigration attorneys that enabled the creation of a research-driven framework for informing future communications with migrants in removal processes- Created a customer journey map aimed at improving the National Flood Insurance Program; researched how users interact with FEMA’s digital resources, identified barriers to understanding, assessed past program improvements, and explored private sector innovations to propose solutions that made the process more user-friendly and accessible- Manage multiple work products across different clients simultaneously, in a fast-paced agile environment
