ABOUT LUCY BEST
I qualified as a prosthetist/orthotist in 1992 and since then have gained a wide range of experience in the UK and internationally. In January 2013 I launched a private orthotic clinic Hampshire Orthotics Ltd. I offer a wide range of high quality orthotic bracing including plagiocephaly helmets, orthotic insoles, footwear, leg and arm/hand braces and spinal braces. All patients are thoroughly assessed before discussing possible treatments. I have an onsite workshop which enables fine tuning and adjustments during the fitting process. My extensive experience in orthotics in the UK and abroad (Switzerland and Laos SE Asia) and prosthetic background and hands on technical skills plus my love of the job, means that I can usually find solutions even for the most complicated patients.
