   As the Chief Information Security Officer of the company, I owned the Global role for Security, Business Continuity and Data Protection. My role was to ensure the safety and security of Tech Mahindra business which includes protection from internal and external cyber threats, ensuring that services delivered by Tech Mahindra are security defect free, and to provide assurance to our stakeholders. In addition, as our business changes from a services to a digital model, to assist in ensuring that information security controls are embedded in Tech Mahindra platforms and IP. Besides running the function, some of the more exciting projects of the year were:\\\\n\\\\nTo Build the vision and strategy for the security organization and transformed both the structure and culture to suit the emerging security disciplines\\\\n\\\\nTransform the security function using ISF frameworks and Tools, NIST Cybersecurity Frameworks and business integrated measurements and scorecards.\\\\n\\\\nRan the global program to comply to GDPR and other Data Protection regulation which include policy, process, assessments, tools and program management\\\\n\\\\nEnsured that the all associates adopted a security first approach through security awareness programs, role based security training and easy to use tools\\\\n\\\\nConducted risk assessments and drove remedial initiatives across the business and internal functions using a set of scorecards\\\\n\\\\nRolled out an enterprise security Secure SDLC program to ensure that the products and services delivered by the company were built securely. The program won Tech Mahindra the Best Company in terms of Security Implementation at the CSI 2020 Excellence and Innovation Awards\\\\n\\\\nSet-up a Threat Intelligence team to monitor for internal and external threats\\\\n\\\\n
