ABOUT LUCIO MAGI
I am a professional with over 25 years of experience split in both the ICT and the Customer Service areas. Throughout the years I have acquired a wide experience in an International environment, developing deep technical and management skills in business and IT processes.After graduating in Electronic Engineering I spent the first half of my career in Customer Service, where I had the opportunity to cover multiple positions and roles: from software technician on CNC machines to foreign subsidiary Service Manager (in the six years abroad spent between USA and Australia), to the position of Coordinator of all Customer Service processes between the mother company and the foreign subsidiaries. Over the years, besides developing deep project management and problem-solving skills, I had the opportunity to manage logistics, large teams and budgets, improving my overall management competences. Furthermore, I have always had the possibility to cooperate closely with the ICT area, coming to the decision to update my skills to be able to dedicate my time completely to the Information Systems and Technologies. In this area I have successfully completed several complex projects, as both Applications and Infrastructure Project Manager, including the delivery of the company ERP in several foreign sites and the integration of all foreign sites into the corporate network and systems. In the last years as a Network Project Manager I have concentrated deepening my networking and security skills, specifically on Cisco, Checkpoint and Palo Alto technologies.After covering a further assignment as Application Support Manager and as Infrastructure and Operations Manager, currently I am working in Network and Security for the IT department in one of the main Italian Groups in the Wood, Glass, and Stone CNC Machinery Industry. Here I have developed and widened my range of expertise, helping the company to perform in the most sustainable way the multi-cloud journey and starting the SASE experience.
