ABOUT LUCINDA TAM

I am a Project & Business Development Manager at LTZ Therapeutics. I have 18 years of experience as a molecular biologist at Genentech’s Research and Early Development (gRED). Strong background in genome editing, gene targeting design, Embryonic Stem cell culture and genotyping. I had transitioned the lab to the use of CRISPR/Cas9 technology in parallel with Embryonic Stem cell approaches creating custom murine models to accelerate gene discovery. Additionally, I expanded my role from laboratory responsibilities to outsourcing management of custom projects. I worked collaboratively with colleagues to provide mouse transgenic services in a full-scale and fast-paced environment to support Genentech’s basic and preclinical research programs. I served in a cross-functional and highly collaborative role and interacted with individuals both inside and outside of Molecular Biology. These interactions included Animal Resources, Research Contracts, Finance, Procurement, CROs/vendors, and stakeholders. I assisted in the planning and execution of projects with outside vendors while adhering to budget, scope, and schedule requirements. Activities would include preparation summaries, communication, protocols, and quantitative analyses.
