About Luci McGlynn

I am a Production Assistant at Jade Trau, a fine jewelry brand based in New York City. I graduated from Connecticut College in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and East Asian Studies, Magna Cum Laude. I have a strong interest in the intersection of business, culture, and design, and I am proficient in Chinese. As a Production Assistant, I liaise with the sales team to facilitate the entering and processing of orders into our ERP computer system, review owned inventory, order raw materials, and deliver to and pick up from our production partners. I also worked as a Production Intern at Jade Trau in the summer of 2022, where I learned the basics of jewelry production and quality control. During my college years, I participated in various academic and extracurricular activities, such as the CISLA Fellow program, the Student Government Executive Board, and the Honor Council. I also conducted research on social entrepreneurship in China as a CISLA Scholar and a Research Intern at En San Foundation. Through these experiences, I developed skills in communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and intercultural competence. I am motivated by the opportunity to contribute to the growth and innovation of Jade Trau, and to bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team.

   Liaise with the sales team to facilitate the entering and processing of orders into our ERP computer system in a timely fashion for: •online retail sales •wholesale sales •owned inventory•Review owned inventory to determine what products need to be put into production to complete the fulfillment of all orders•Consult with Production Manager and order raw materials for orders•Aggregating production materials• Fulfill the job bags in a timely and organized fashion•Deliver to and pick up from our production partners• Maintain a raw materials inventory by location•Work in conjunction with the Production Manager to ensure that all orders are shipped with an invoice to the destination as indicated on the order•Relay invoice to the appropriate JT Sales team member to ensure client satisfaction
