ABOUT LUCIANO BUTTI
Luciano joined B&P Avvocati as a Partner in 1998. Before entering the practice, he had worked as a State judge from 1984 to 1997. He is also Affiliated Professor of International Environmental Law at the University of Padua. Luciano was recently invited by the University of Cambridge as a Visiting Scholar (October 2016 – May 2017). He conducted there two research projects. The first one analyzed the Contaminated Land Regimes of the European Member States. The second one was about the ethical and legal challenges posed by the driverless technology (autonomous vehicles). Luciano is now Life Member of Clare Hall College - Cambridge In December 2021 he was appointed as Full Member of the Accademia di Agricoltura, Scienze e Lettere di Verona, a prestigious cultural institution founded in 1768. Luciano specializes in Italian and International Environmental Law. Luciano wrote books and articles on Italian, European and International Environmental Law and on Constitutional Law. He is also regularly involved in academic research projects and training courses held in Italy and abroad. His most recent books are \"Non esistono diritti tiranni. Come orientarsi tra diritti in conflitto\"(Mimesis, 2023) and \"Il diritto del clima\"(Mimesis, 2022, with Stefano Nespor). He is a Member of the Italian Bar Association - Verona. From 1st January 2020, Luciano continues to collaborate with B&P as Of Counsel.
