Relaunched and currently produce the Monday-Thursday afternoon show at BBC Radio 1, leading a team of premier on and off-air talent at the UK’s largest youth radio brand. I also relaunched and produced shows like Radio 1’s Soundsystem with Jeremiah Asiamah (previously Toddla T) and Radio 1’s Chillest Show with Sian Eleri (previously Phil Taggart), which included curating Radio 1’s Piano Sessions. I worked closely alongside the likes of Maya Jama and Jordan North, including launching and producing their Radio 1 Anthems/Greatest Hits shows back in 2018. Also worked with Adele Roberts on Radio 1’s Early Breakfast and Dev on Weekend Breakfast (during which time we launched the viral ‘Kids Ask Difficult Questions’ format). I also spent time producing 1Xtra’s Grime Show with Sir Spyro, as well as The Official Chart and Dance Anthems with Greg James (and Mistajam). I have worked on flagship network projects such as Radio 1’s Big Weekend, LOLathon and Radio 1 Dance Weekend, as well as launching multiple brand new radio shows and successfully winning new business for BBC Audio. I have previously been on Radio 1’s Playlist Committee and the BBC’s Under 35s Advisory Group, and I currently chair BBC Radio & Music’s Creative Diversity Group. The team I led was nominated for Best Music Production at the 2020 BBC Radio & Music Awards (The Chillest Show with Phil Taggart).
