Client: Manchester City Council The project encompasses the repair, refurbishment and restoration of the Grade I listed Neo-Gothic building. My role was to assess the design status and create a plan to align with the construction’s programme needs. With a comprehensive and tactical approach, I developed a strategy with 5 key points to tackle- Scope: facilitated dialogue and communication with designers and contractors to define a scope per package of outstanding design to allow works to progress- Plan: developed the design review and acceptance process to align with wider strategy and prioritisation of tasks- Resource: spearheaded the resetting of the current designer\'s resource plan- Risks: led efforts for the management of Designer Risks assessments in compliance with CDM 2015- Design Quality: launched and supervised a review of the Design Quality proposal to establish clear KPIs that aligned with the client\'s objectives- Monitor progression: Unified tracking systems and set-up a meeting cadence to allow the team remaining on the project to track design progression.
