ABOUT LUCIA PALOMBI
I am a social scientist with over 20 years of international experience in knowledge management, learning, evaluation, communication, capacity development and project management across development and humanitarian contexts in Africa, Latin America, and Asia. At FAO since 2007, I currently serve as Reporting and Knowledge Management Specialist for the Green Climate Fund Team at FAO. Fluent in English, French, and Spanish, I have direct field-level experience in Chad, Niger, Ecuador, and Somalia. My work spans strategic advisory support, cross-divisional collaboration, multilingual facilitation, and the production of knowledge products on climate resilience, disaster risk reduction, social protection, and localization. I have led strategic advisory work, authored and coordinated over 25 knowledge products, and supported global initiatives on climate resilience, DRR, and social protection. Prior to joining FAO, I coordinated community-based natural resource management projects in Ecuador and Niger, including the Keita project.
