ABOUT LUCIA FLOREANO

I love the thrill of launching products as well as making order out of chaos. Being and staying curious throughout the process is how I always found the fun in the work. Lists are also something I enjoy, so I’ve listed 5 things about me and my work. I’ve developed fabrics, denim/colour washes and trims for icon brands like Duer, Levis, Silver Jeans, Harley-Davidson, and Mark’s. What a rush to work and meet such great people. I love solving problems. I live in Vancouver, otherwise known as Raincouver so staying dry can be a challenge. I was lucky to have solved this issue by developing a Weatherproof denim for Duer that won an ISPO award in the Urban category. Managing multiple projects across various channels can feel like herding cats for some but I was able to flex my organizing muscles while being exposed to various software tools like Asana, Trello, Jira, and Basecamp over the years. Always be learning is something my mom always says, so I took her advice and recently decided to formalize my hands on experience with foundational knowledge by completing my Project Management Certification. Whew, quite a feat but doable. To sum things up and I don’t like to advertise this, but I would do my job for free. I find joy in helping companies stay organized, solve problems, and make happy customers by building trust between brands and their product experiences. Period.
