ABOUT LUCIA BRANDOLI

I have worked since 2017 for the Italian digital magazine and media agency The Vision as Senior Editor and Contributor, and since 2021 I have been a daily contributor for domusweb.it – the award-winning digital project of Domus, the magazine on architecture and design founded by Gio Ponti – as well as one of its Instagram and TikTok faces, writing in Italian and English about design, architecture, and art. Before I worked as a copywriter for the advertising agency Leftloft.During my career, I collaborated with Fondazione Prada, Audi, MINI, MSI, Telepass, Emotion Network, Rizzoli, Fernet-Branca, Pirelli, Mondadori, Combo, Regione Puglia, Antinori, Tormaresca, Aboca, Magneti Marelli, Raffles, TEDx, Feltrinelli, Feltrinelli Red, Exploring Taste. I write about many different themes: culture and society, feminism, parenting, cinema, books, music, psychology and philosophy, innovation and sustainability, and drink and food.I published 5 books of poetry for which I have received numerous awards – \"Anello di prova\"(Raffaelli Editore, 2016; Premio Pisa Opera Prima 2017 and others),\"Una minima stupenda\"(Interno Poesia, 2019),\"Convinta di esistere\"(Edizioni Ensemble, 2021),\"Dittico dell\'acqua\"(industria & letteratura, 2022), and \"Forme\"(Minerva, 2024); a short stories collection,\"A letto non si pensa al futuro\"(Pendragon, 2017), and a narrative reportage about Italian film industry \"Exit\"(Hacca, 2015, edited by Andrea Bajani).In 2017 I became co-founder of Studio Deha in Milan, where I teach yoga and Pilates Barre.I studied Violin at Music Conservatory and Architecture at the University of Ferrara. In 2009 I earned an Erasmus scholarship at FAUP University of Porto, and then I moved to Berlin to attend UdK as an auditor, study German and improve my classical music studies, especially Lyrical Singing. In 2015-16 I was a visiting student at CEPT University of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, where I deepened my urban planning studies in the field of Rajasthan’s and Gujarat’s heritage, to develop a thesis in step-wells, under the supervision of Professors Minakshi Jain and Marcello Balzani. In 2014 I received a Master\'s in Narrative Techniques (editing, screenwriting, creative writing, translation, journalism) at Scuola Holden, in Turin, founded by Alessandro Baricco.I took part in and organized several international workshops on architecture and urban design (Manchester, Chandigarh, Cadiz, Klaipeda, Ahmedabad, Jodhpur), in particular as Italian National Contact for EASA (European Architecture Students Assembly) and MEDS (Meeting of European Design Students).
