ABOUT LUCIA BARTOLI
Being a scientist has always been my dream profession since I was young. My biggest interest is conducting research. My tools for dealing with instances where I don\'t feel enough are my persistence, devotion, and passion for this profession. I have a Master degree in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. Currently, I am national PhD candidate in Precision Medicine at the University of Palermo and the University of Florence. During my internship at the University, I gained expertise in various fields of biotechnology, such as: Experimental project on the characterization of lymphocyte infiltration in a mouse model of Multiple Sclerosis, knock out for the Musculin transcriptional factor. Immunology, oncology, histology, PCR analysis, single cell analysis, flow cytometry and the examination of MNCs from peripheral blood or tissue. Mouse models of immune-mediated diseases. Master\'s thesis experimental project: 110L/110 vote and career mention for the investigation of adenosine A2A receptor antagonists\' effectiveness on lymphocyte populations implicated in tumor immunosurveillance (AIRC research project).
