About Luis Felipe Arango Pardo
I am a bilingual executive with 30+ years of leadership in international business, healthcare, and insurance. After serving as CEO of three Latin American insurance companies, I moved to Ecuador at 38 and launched my international career. By 40, I was simultaneously a trade negotiator for Ecuador in the U.S.–Andean Free Trade Agreement talks (Colombia, Ecuador, Peru) and President of the Colombian–Ecuadorian Chamber of Commerce in Quito, building high-level public–private partnerships and expanding cross-border trade.My U.S. healthcare career spans senior roles at Jackson Memorial Hospital (Miami), University of California San Diego, and the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, as well as consulting engagements with Beverly Hills Health Center, Philadelphia International Medicine, Orlando Health, Holy Cross Hospital (Fort Lauderdale), and UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, among others.I hold a Master of Health Administration from the University of Southern California, a Juris Doctor from Universidad Javeriana in Colombia, and a Digital Marketing diploma from UC Berkeley Extension. Today I lead multi-year strategic collaborations for Cedars-Sinai International, expanding access to world-class medical care across Latin America. This blend of trade diplomacy, executive leadership, and U.S. healthcare expertise enables me to open new markets, improve patient outcomes, and create value for stakeholders across industries.
