Luc has a background in law, business administration and accounting with more than 28 years of experience in the construction industry, in Canada and at the International level, in private practice and corporate litigation.Luc was the Senior Vice president Legal Affairs and Chief Ethics Officer for a large engineering-construction firm with expertise in a wide range of fields that employed nearly people and with posts annual revenues of $750 million. The company operated offices in North Africa, Central America, South America and the Caribbean. Luc has been involved in driving major acquisition or divestiture transactions. He successfully negotiated, closed and completed the transition phase of 3 large and complex sale transactions covering more than 3 employees in Canada and at the International level. Previously, he had participated in the closing and integration of 24 Canadian and International Purchase Transactions.Luc was also the CEO of the Association des Professionnels de la Construction et de l’Habitation du Québec (APCHQ), Quebec’s Home Builders Association, founded in 1961, an organization of 160 employees, with an annual turnover of $ 25M, whose mission is to promote and develop the professionalism of its member companies gathered in 14 regional associations. In addition, on the occasion of the renewal of collective agreements for the construction industry in Quebec, APCHQ has a mandate to negotiate on behalf of 14,500 residential employers.Key skills Luc has acquired are strong and pragmatic decision-making and analytical abilities, proactive management style with communication skills and the ability to think out of the box to solve problems.
